Pipedrive is a CRM – or customer relationship management platform – that helps businesses capture and nurture new sales leads and drive revenue.
If you’re new to Pipedrive, you can sign up for a 14-day trial of our Essential, Advanced or Professional plans.
Yes, users with prior billing access can regain access to a closed Pipedrive account. To do this, log in to Pipedrive with the details linked to the closed account and provide new billing information. Remember, this is only possible if your data still exists on Pipedrive’s servers.
If you don’t have billing access and want to reactivate your account, please contact an account admin or another user with prior billing access.
If you need help regaining access to the account, you can contact support, who will assist you.
You might encounter errors when creating your PD account for several reasons. To pinpoint the issue, you should first go through your details and ensure they’re correct, looking out for validation errors. If they are correct, we recommend following our general troubleshooting guide to rule out any other cache- or browser-related issues. In Pipedrive, there are four different permission categories: Deals, Projects, Global user and Account settings. Within these permission categories, there are three permission levels a user may be granted.
Admin: Admin permission gives users access to all the data under a given category. (Exception: If you are a Deal admin, you have access to all of the deals on your account.)
Admins can have their access limited or their permission status changed by other Account settings admins.
Manager: This option is only available in Professional and Enterprise plans.
The manager role allows non-admin users to be given more permission and visibility than regular users without being made into admins. (Exception: A manager can be given access to creating new custom fields, but that access is restricted from regular users.)
Regular user: A regular user is subject to all permission and visibility limitations set up by the account admin. Regular users start out with a default set of available actions and data access, but this can be changed by the admin.
By default, regular users have access to all other users’ data, but this can be removed.

If you can access your Pipedrive account, you can change your password in your settings. If you’re trying to log in but don’t remember your login password, click the "Forgot?" option listed in the password box and follow the steps. You can edit your personal details in the settings section of your account, including the email address and password you use to access Pipedrive.
To update your billing details, go to Settings > Billing and update your billing details.
Pipedrive offers several security features to give you full transparency of how and when your data is accessed:
- The two-factor authentication feature adds an extra layer of security to confirm that the user trying to log in to Pipedrive is who they say they are.
- Pipedrive's single sign-on allows you to add Pipedrive to the SSO provider your company has set up. This feature gives you a stress-free Pipedrive login experience and gives account admins more control over user access.
- The security dashboard feature offers a full overview of user access information and security-related activity on your company account.
- With the security rules feature, users with account settings access can enforce access restrictions. These restrictions ensure that business data is only available to the right people at the right place and time.
- The security alerts feature lets users with account settings access set up security-related email notifications. These users can send live alerts or send alerts at regular daily or weekly intervals.

Pipedrive removes all data deleted by its users after 30 days. Recovering this data is only possible within those 30 days.
When a paid Pipedrive account is closed, Pipedrive schedules that account and its data for permanent deletion within six months of the closure date. However, as per our data retention policies, we delete trial accounts within 30 days of their closure date.
To keep your data and information protected, we recommend you to log yourself out from a different computer.
To access the list of devices, go to Settings > Your devices > Active devices in your Pipedrive account and click the "Log out" button next to device you want to disconnect.
You can easily change your login email address from the settings tab within your Pipedrive app:
1. Go to Settings > Personal preferences > Account > General.
2. Find the email field and click "Edit".
3. Edit the login email address in that field.
4. Click "Save".
You can remove an integrated app from Pipedrive by uninstalling it. First, head to your Pipedrive account and click Settings > Tools and apps > Marketplace apps to find a list of your installed apps. Then, click on the three-dot menu next to the app you want to remove and click “Uninstall”.
Pipedrive Marketplace offers hundreds of useful apps and integrations. However, if the app you want isn’t there, here are three ways to integrate the app you use with Pipedrive:
1. Check the Zapier app to see if Zapier can help you connect the app you use with Pipedrive.
2. Ask a partner who specializes in building apps or get your tech team to build an integration that connects Pipedrive with the app you want.
3. Contact our Support team and let us know which app you use. We’ll try our best to add it to our Marketplace.

3. Make a request to our Support team and let us know which app you use so we can try to get it to our Marketplace
To use Pipedrive’s API, you’ll have to manually obtain your personal API token from the Pipedrive app.
